CT Pistol Permit
For law-abiding citizens that wish to apply for their Connecticut Pistol Permit need to take the state required safety course (NRA Basic Pistol).
Group Class (Open Enrollment)
This is an NRA 8-hour course that includes classroom instruction as well as range time with revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students will learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; Ammunition Components and General Knowledge; Loading and Unloading a Pistol; Proper Sight Alignment, Sight Picture, trigger, and breath control; Range Safety; Proper Stance and Grip; Firearm Maintenance; Firearm Safety in the Home; Proper Firearm Storage; CT Laws Pertaining to Firearms; and continued opportunities for skill development. The instructor to student ratio is limited to ensure every student receives the attention they deserve and classes are held weekly to maintain small groups.
Please note….allow at least 48 hours prior to class to register as you will need to read the course material. Confirmation is set when registration is completed. If registering within the 48 hour window, please contact us directly for availability.

Private Instruction
We offer private classes for those who cannot attend a scheduled class, prefer individual training, are more comfortable taking the class alone or with a group of friends/relatives/coworkers, or require anonymity. The private Pistol Permit Class can be conducted at a location convenient for you. We will supply all the necessary materials, and the 8 hour class can be completed at your convenience. Privacy is also important to us and we will ensure our private classes are kept as discreet as possible. With Private Sessions, you get additional one on one attention. Another benefit of a private class is being able to choose your own group so you are surrounded by familiar faces which will add to the comfort level of the class. Contact us for pricing.
Discounts
Discounts of $50.00 is given to all active, reserve and retired military personnel and first responders who enroll for any of our courses, with proper ID.
